Sappolo® Bond 7937 is a silicone alkyl terminated polyether, a medium-high viscosity moisture-curing sealant. As a part of the new generation of ultra-high-quality adhesives Sappolo® Bond 7937 combines the strength advantages of polyurethane and the durability of silicone. With a long operating period and high modulus Sappolo® Bond 7937 has high elasticity is resistant to UV and has excellent weather-resistant qualities. Free of solvents and isocyanates Sappolo® Bond 7937 offers great environmental protection.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE--Windshield Bonding
  • GLASS REMOVAL
Damaged glass should be removed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
  • PREPARATION
Remove old PU from the aperture leaving. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from all traces of dust, dirt.

  • APPLICATION
Cartridges – Pierce the cartridge membrane
Sausages – Place sausage in the application gun and cut off closure clip. The tip of the nozzle is to be snipped
or trimmed and screwed onto the cartridge. If using a sausage attach the nozzle using the adaptor to the sausage. Cut the nozzle in a ‘V’ shape to the required height.
We recommend to use a piston type application gun. To ensure a uniform thickness and height of the adhesive
we recommend that you apply the product in a triangular bead form. All glass must be installed within a maximum of ten minutes from adhesive application.
Sappolo® Bond 7937 is suitable for use in a wide range of climates but the ideal environmental conditions for
use is between 10-30 degrees Centigrade and 50-70 % humidity.
  • AFTER APPLICATION AND CLEANING
Once cured the product can only be removed mechanically.
